The North Texas Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (NTAEE) will be sponsoring a CEM Study Group and Exam this fall.  The study group sessions and exam will be held at DFW Airport’s Energy Plaza, located at 2375 N. International Pkwy.

The cost for participation in the study group will be $200 for NTAEE members and $250 for non-members.  There is also a $200 cost to set for the CEM exam.

If you hold the CEM certification and wish to audit the study group to update your skills, the cost is $100 for NTAEE members and $125 for non-members.  Individual sessions can be audited for $25 per session.

In preparation for the study group and exam, we recommend you visit the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) website and review the eligibility requirements for the CEM.  Additionally, AEE and the NTAEE recommends that each participant purchase the latest addition of the Energy Management Handbook and the Handbook of Energy Engineering in preparation for the study sessions and exam.  There are other reference materials available, but these two are considered a must.  Information on the CEM application, requirements, and reference materials can be found at http://www.aeecenter.org/certification/.

The study sessions are design to provide an abbreviated review of each subject, and participant access to subject matter experts.  Advanced preparation for each session will significantly enhance your ability to follow the material.
